Co-hosted by the SGA and Perrett Laver, this 90-minute online session is aimed at those who are thinking of taking on a chairing role, are new into a chairing role, or are part of a board which is considering its chair succession or wider succession planning.
Informative and interactive, the workshop will cover some of the basics of chairing as well as group activities, key skills and practical takeaways:
- The role of a chair
- What chairing involves
- Key attributes of a successful chair
- Group discussion, with feedback facilitated by our expert trainer
By joining this session, you will gain knowledge of the role, improve your confidence to take on a chairing position as well as make connections across the sector.
For convenience and accessibility, the workshop will be held in the early evening from 17:30 - 19:00 on Monday 1 July 2024.
